Fine dining at its very best with excellent service and stellar food. Dinner was an experience - no rushing, drinks were one of a kind and tasty. John, our waiter was knowledgeable, answered all my questions and was alert to all of our needs and wants. My second drink was the smoked Wood-ford old fashioned and it was a beautiful cocktail. I love old-fashions and anytime it’s smoked, not trying it isn’t an option. Beautiful presentation. They have a 101 menu for those who don’t know what to order…it’s a three course menu (I think) with different options. We ordered appetizer- Shiso Patta Chaat (amazing with all the flavors), shahi Meva Dahi Kebab (tasty), Nalli Gosht Nihari (about to toss Mom’s cooking out the window for this dish), not sure what we had for desserts - a light pasty dish (dense/beautiful presentation/delicious) and what I call, “funnel sugar.”Don’t ask…just go try this beautiful, tasty treat! Ooh how could I forget about the crispy okra dish - perfectly light batter and fried. I can eat okra like this daily!! And the black lentil Dahl is a must!! DO NOT SKIP THIS DISH! Already planning to include Jashan on my next trip back.

I have tried À la carte as well as chef special tasting menu. Food quality is undoubtedly the best and flavors are delicious too. I would rather choose to go for À la carte over tasting menu, so that you can order according to your preference. For tasting menu, I would suggest Jashan to disclose menu in advance so there is no room for shocking surprises. We went for vegetarian tasting menu, and price point for vegetarian tasting menu itself is very high and so as our expectations too. For the main course we were served mushroom dish, 5 people out of 8 in our group do not eat mushroom and honestly we didn’t realize that could be our main course and we should mention that in advance, didn’t expected that we will have only one main course with mushroom. Another bummer was Khichdi, who went to a restaurant like Jashan to eat Khichdi? We eat that every week at home. Again 3 people in our group are kind of allergic to Khichdi, that not even a last option they want to eat. So basically, after paying almost $475/couple, we left hungry. On the other side, we had great experience with their à la carte menu. Everything was outstanding. No complains there.

Weekend lunch at Jaashan the fine dining room and honestly, this place felt like a whole experience. The moment you walk in, the ambience sets the tone: elegant interiors, soft lighting, calm music, and that refined fine‑dining warmth that makes you slow down and enjoy every moment. The food was exceptional — thoughtfully crafted, beautifully plated, and full of rich, balanced flavours. Every dish felt like it had its own story, its own personality. From starters to mains to desserts, everything was cooked with precision and served with care. The service was equally impressive — attentive staff, warm hospitality, and a team that genuinely wants you to have a memorable meal. An omakase experience that felt like a beautifully curated journey, not just a meal. ✨ From Assam to Kanyakumari, every course took us on an incredible, flavor-packed exploration of India. The classics were redefined in ways I had never experienced before... nostalgic at heart, and presented with stunning creativity in a true "never-before-ever-after" style. What truly stood out was how Chef Prasanna guided us through the intention behind every course... the "what" and the "why" behind each creation. Listening through the thought process behind the dishes made every bite even more meaningful. It was Indian food served with passion, purpose, and as a true form of art. An absolute masterpiece of Indian fine dining! My party and I had the most amazing dining experience at Jashan! We went for the Dil Se Omakase tasting experience, and it wasn’t just a meal - it was a fabulous multi-course journey that took us all the way from South to North India. The owner, Prasanna, came over to say hello and provided a beautiful walkthrough of both the restaurant's concept and the inspiration behind every single dish. His stories were incredibly passionate and evocative. For me, the entire experience felt like a lovely stroll down memory lane, with the different courses sparking fond memories of growing up in India. The food itself was delightful - a true culinary retreat showcasing incredible flavors and creativity as we moved up and down the country. The cocktails were fantastic and paired beautifully with the meal as well. While every dish was an absolute home run, a few major standouts for us were the deconstructed Idli with filter coffee, the Kappa Vada, and the Wazwan - they were incredibly creative spins on familiar, classic dishes.
